The Dubai Embassy will be closed on the following holidays in December 2024: Christmas Eve: Tuesday, December 24 Christmas Day: Wednesday, December 25 First Day of Hanukkah: Thursday, December 26 Also expect slow processing on Dec 27, 28, 29.

Royal Thai Embassy ANNOUNCEMENT

The Implementation of Thailand’s Electronic Visa (e-Visa) in India The Royal Thai Embassy in New Delhi wishes to announce the implementation of Thailand’s Electronic Visa System (e-Visa) in India with the offline payment method. Details are as follows: The e-Visa system will be effective from 1 January 2025. Applicants, non-Thai nationals, must apply for all types of visas at the website https://www.thaievisa.go.th. Each application can be submitted by: (1) The applicants themselves (2) Other representatives (The Embassy and Consulate-Generals shall not bear responsibility if any application submitted by a representative is incomplete.) The application process can be found on the aforementioned website. Offline Payment options: Applicants must choose to pay a visa fee. Respective Embassies and Consulate-Generals will provide details on the offline payment options. Note: Visa fees are non-refundable under all circumstances. Processing time: Approximately within 14 working days from the date the receipt of the visa fee is issued. Deadline for the regular visa application under the current system: 5.1 Ordinary passport applications submitted at the designated visa processing companies will be accepted until 16 December 2024. 5.2 Diplomatic and official passport applications submitted at the Embassy or Consulate-General will be accepted until 24 December 2024. The 60-day visa exemption for tourism and short business purposes for Indian ordinary passport holders remains effective until further announcement.

US Embassy NEW Rule 

Starting January 1, 2025, the US Embassy in India will implement new rules for scheduling and rescheduling nonimmigrant visa appointments. "To make sure everyone has a fair chance at getting a visa interview appointment and to reduce wait times, we’re making some changes," the US Embassy in India said in a statement. Applicants will be allowed to reschedule their appointments once without additional charges. However, missing the rescheduled appointment or requiring a second reschedule will necessitate booking a new appointment and repaying the application fee.

Japan Visa Update

JAPAN CONSULATE WILL REMAIN CLOSED ON 25/12/2024 FOR XMAS AND FROM 30/12/2024 TO 03/01/2025 FOR NEW YEAR. THEY WILL REOPEN ON 04/01/202

Important update for applicants in North Jurisdiction (19 December 2024)

Please note that, on December 24, 27, 30 and 31, 2024, the VFS Application Centre in New Delhi will not accept applications, and on December 23, 24, 27 and 30, 2024, the VFS Application Centres in Jalandhar and Chandigarh will not accept applications. Additionally, kindly note that the application review may take longer than usual due to the Christmas holidays and mandatory closing of the yearly procedures. Thank you for your understanding.

South Africa Visa Application Centers

The centers in East and North India (Delhi) will be closed from December 23, 2024, to January 1, 2025, for the festive season.

Netherlands Visa Application Center

The center will remain closed from December 25, 2024, to January 1, 2025, on the occasion of Christmas and New Year.
